Chris Packham provides comprehensive, personalized services tailored to your unique individual or couple's counseling needs. Mr. Packham offers various options, such as in-person consultations or virtual appointments, each lasting 50 minutes. Provides warm, empathetic communication and active listening skills where we can discuss a solution to your dilemma or issues. Providing dynamic content through cognitive behavior therapy or dialectic behavior therapy. Gain an understanding of your concerns that can lead to anxiety, depression, and hopelessness and can cause intrusive and negative thoughts. You will obtain a variety of techniques and other alternative tools to help navigate through anxiety, worry, and sadness. Acquire an understanding of how to self-soothe and master a plan that helps you take back your life and manage the signs and symptoms that you are facing. You are not alone in this journey.
Our services encompass couple counseling, with the possibility of involving family members if necessary. We focus on tackling the root causes of why we do the things we do. While being mindful of your pitch, tone, volume, or other behaviors that stop us from moving forward. For example, when having a passionate discussion with your partner or spouse, concentrating solely on the FAQs, such as labeling, "I can't trust you." or "You never follow through on what you say you are going to do," can leave the conversation in a negative direction. Instead, employ a strategy that centers on emotions, such as acknowledging past instances of dishonesty and expressing understanding, to transform the dialogue into a healthy and rational exchange. This technique will help keep both parties' emotions low so they can finish the conversation on a good note. This will demonstrate that you are able and willing to change your behavior. Learning what factors contribute to a loved one's addiction, dishonesty, lack of boundaries, anxiety, depression, and/or detrimental behaviors to facilitate a new, healthy lifestyle.
Mr. Packham specializes in helping individuals look at their current situation from a different advantage point, along with developing a vision of their ideal situation. Mr. Packham focuses on addressing maladaptive habits, unhealthy patterns, and self-destructive behaviors. I employ evidence-based approaches and neuroplasticity exercises to work with clients and create a personalized plan to replace unhealthy behaviors with healthier ones. Furthermore, explore coping mechanisms to help make decisions and live with a vision and a purpose.
